OMA Advocacy Services Protect Manufacturers

The actions — or inactions — of state policymakers profoundly affect Ohio manufacturers. That’s why The Ohio Manufacturers’ Association is focused on representing your interests at the Statehouse, governor’s office, state agencies, and governing bodies. The OMA continuously monitors state legislative activity and actions by the executive branch. OMA staff members are in close contact with key leaders to ensure manufacturers — regardless of size or sector — have a strong voice throughout state government.

Join Management Communities to Follow and Help Shape Policy

The OMA has five standing policy committees to address key issues related to the following OMA management communities:

  • Energy
  • Environment
  • Government Affairs
  • Safety and Workers’ Compensation
  • Tax and Finance

After joining one or more of the OMA’s management communities, members receive invitations to the OMA’s policy committee meetings. The committees meet three to four times annually. In addition, members receive relevant updates, alerts, and special event notices.
