In FY 2023, Ohio’s state government disbursed roughly $44.5 billion in subsidies and capital funds for programs and projects across all 88 counties. The state sales/use and income taxes were the main sources of this funding. The Ohio Legislative Service Commission has published this report to examine how state funds are distributed to, and spent by, each county.
