While touring manufacturer company General Tool in Reading this week, WLWT this week pressed Ohio’s Lt. Governor Jon Husted on the growing reports that he is the frontrunner to replace U.S. Senator J.D. Vance.

Governor Mike DeWine may appoint anyone to the vacancy. No official announcement has been made from the Governor, but an announcement is expected soon following Vance’s resignation from the United States Senate days prior to his inauguration as Donald Trump’s Vice President on Jan. 20. 1/9/2024
