Ohio’s hourly minimum wage increased on Jan. 1, rising to $8.70 for non-tipped employees — up from $8.55 in 2019. The new minimum applies to employers with annual gross receipts of more than $319,000. The increase was mandated by a constitutional amendment approved by voters in 2006.
