The OMA’s Workforce Leadership Committee gathered virtually this week for its first meeting of 2021. After reviewing the OMA’s 2021 Workforce Roadmap, participants were briefed on the efforts to grow the statewide network of industry sector partnerships. Other key topics of discussion included activities surrounding Ohio’s scaling apprenticeships initiative; the governor’s budget proposal for workforce programs (including TechCred); and new opportunities to expand credentialing programs in defense manufacturing.
