Entrepreneur and former presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy is expected to launch his gubernatorial campaign early next week.

The 39-year-old biotech entrepreneur, who filed his paperwork to run late last week, would join Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost in the GOP primary race to succeed term-limited Gov. Mike DeWine. Ohio Treasurer Robert Sprague was expected to run, but he changed course and endorsed Ramaswamy, along with Secretary of State Frank LaRose, earlier this month. 2/20/2025
