Update: On April 21, 2014, the attorney examiner issued an entry which granted the motions to intervene of the following parties: OMAEG, Industrial Energy Users-Ohio (IEU-Ohio), OCC, Ohio Energy Group, Dominion Retail Inc., Duke Energy Ohio, Duke Energy Retail Sales, Ohio Hospital Association, IGS Energy, Duke Energy Commercial Asset Management, FirstEnergy Solutions, Ohio Partners for Affordable Energy, Kroger, Dayton Power & Light, the Environmental Defense Fund, Ohio Environmental Council, Direct Energy Services, Direct Energy Business, the Appalachian Peace and Justice Network, the Retail Energy Suppliers Association, Constellation, Exelon, the Environmental Law and Policy Center, Walmart Stores East, Sam’s East, Natural Resources Defense Council, Border Energy, EnerNOC, and Paulding Wind Farm II.
On April 22, OCC filed a notice to take the depositions of AEP Ohio witnesses Allen, Gabbard, Roush, Vegas, Spitznogle, and Dias beginning on May 12, 2014. Additionally, on April 24, 2014, AEP Ohio filed a memorandum contra IEU-Ohio’s motion to compel the production of certain discovery, which was filed last week.
