Update: The PUCO granted AEP more time to file an application to extend its current electric security plan up through May 31, 2024. Under the terms of the PPA settlement recently approved by the PUCO, AEP was supposed to make this filing by April 30^th. AEP now, however, has an additional two weeks. AEP stated that it needed more time to prepare the filing in light of the recent FERC order which rescinded the waiver on affiliate power sales restrictions previously granted to AEP and its unregulated generating affiliate.
