Update: In December, OMAEG and others filed applications for rehearing regarding the PUCO’s approval of AEP’s OVEC-only PPA rider. In its application for rehearing, OMAEG urged the PUCO to reverse its decision to allow AEP to implement a PPA rider that will pass on costs associated with AEP’s interest in the OVEC generating units as the proposal was not part of the original filing and was only suggested by AEP after the conclusion of the hearing. The PUCO denied OMAEG’s application for rehearing. OMAEG is considering whether it should appeal this decision to the Court.
