Update: On December 4, 2013, the Commission approved AEP Ohio’s amended corporate separation plan. In its Opinion and Order, the Commission permitted AEP Ohio to retain certain contractual entitlements, including the power to purchase power from generating resources owned by Ohio Valley Electric Corporation (OVEC), so long as it liquidates the power delivered under its OVEC contract through the PJM market.
