Update: On December 2, 2013, OCC, Kroger, OMA, and Ohio Partners for Affordable energy filed a Motion for Stay with the Commission. In filing the motion, the parties sought to prevent Duke Energy Ohio from charging manufactured gas clean-up costs to customers while the rehearing process is pending, and through the time of any subsequent appeals. In the alternative, the parties requested that the Commission make Duke’s Energy Ohio’s impending rates for charging manufactured gas clean-up costs to customers subject to refund pending the outcome of rehearing and any appeals.
