Update:  On February 6, 2014, OMAEG filed comments in this proceeding.  Generally, OMAEG agrees with the contents of the Market Development Plan issued by Staff.  OMAEG recommends that the Commission require utilities to provide most transparent, understandable information and products available and that the Commission work with nearby states to develop and standardize best practices across the region for implementing improvements to the retail electric service market.

The Citizen Coalition, Direct Energy Services, LLC and Direct Energy Business, LLC, Constellation NewEnergy, Inc. and Exelon Generation Company, LLC, Industrial Energy Users – Ohio, Duke Energy Retail Sales, LLC and Duke Energy Commercial Asset Management, Inc., Duke Energy Ohio, Inc., Northeast Ohio Public Energy Council, Sierra Club, IGS Energy, FirstEnergy, Republic Steel, Retail Energy Supply Association, The Ohio Consumers’ Counsel, Ohio Power Company, Ohio Environmental Council, FirstEnergy Solutions Corp., and the Dayton Power & Light Company all filed comments on February 6, 2014.

The Ohio Partners for Affordable Energy, AARP, the Ohio Poverty Law Center, Edgemont Neighborhood Coalition, ProSeniors, Inc., Southeastern Ohio Legal Services, Legal Aid Society of Columbus, Legal Aid Society of Cleveland, Communities United for Action, and the Citizens Coaltion filed joint comments.
