Update: The hearing date originally scheduled for January 11, 2017 has been continued to allow parties additional time to engage in settlement discussions. The rescheduled hearing is set for January 25, 2017. As you may recall, OMAEG filed testimony of Thomas Lause with Cooper Tire opposing DP&L’s proposed credit support rider called the Distribution Modernization Rider (DMR). Specifically, Mr. Lause’s testimony addressed, among other things, the negative economic impact of Rider DMR on manufacturers in the state of Ohio given the increase in electricity costs and the anticompetitive effects on all businesses in Ohio. Mr. Lause has been deposed by DP&L and is projected to testify at the PUCO in February.
