Update:  This week, AEP Retail Energy Partners, LLC filed a motion to continue the hearing date and modify the procedural schedule of the case. AEP Retail Energy Partners, LLC argues that in addition to continuing the procedural schedule, the PUCO should require FirstEnergy to file supplemental testimony that analyzes the Stipulation in light of the recently announced PJM RPM auction results, and to permit the parties time to evaluate and respond to FirstEnergy’s updated proposal.The evidentiary hearing will begin on June 4, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at the PUCO, unless the PUCO rules in favor of granting AEP Retail Energy Partners’ motion to continue the hearing date and modify the procedural schedule. At this point, it is unlikely that the PUCO will grant AEP Retail Energy Partners’ motion.
