Update:  Hearing on AEP Ohio’s proposed electric security plan (ESP) continued throughout this week, and is presently expected to conclude on June 18, 2014.  On June 12, 2014, during the hearing, the attorney examiner granted AEP Ohio’s motion to strike portions of the testimony of Kroger witness Higgins and Ohio Energy Group (OEG) witness Baron relating to the AEP Ohio Retail Stability Rider (RSR).  The attorney examiner’s ruling reasoned that the testimony filed on that issue was outside the scope of the ESP hearing and would be heard in the context of the RSR case, which AEP Ohio has not filed to date.
