Update: On March 24, 2014, AEP Generation Resources, Inc. filed comments and Ohio Partners for Affordable Energy filed a motion to intervene and comments. On March 25, 2014, OMAEG, Ohio Consumers’ Counsel, FirstEnergy Solutions Corp., Direct Energy Services, LLC and Direct Energy Business, LLC, IEU-Ohio, Ohio Energy Group, Duke Energy Ohio, Inc., Staff, and Retail Energy Supply Association filed comments. The theme of all comments filed was that DP&L must transfer its environmental liabilities with its generation assets and that the supplemental application still fails to provide sufficient information for intervening parties to adequately protect their interests.
