Update: On March 27, 2013, the OMAEG filed comments regarding the PUCO Staff’s evaluation of the existing energy efficiency mercantile customer pilot program. The OMAEG’s comments opposed the PUCO’s annual reporting requirement, which poses a large risk to manufacturers losing their exemptions. Also, the OMAEG advocated that the “as found” method should be utilized as an option, but not a requirement, for calculating energy efficiency savings, thereby, rewarding manufacturers that take the time to conduct this timely estimate.
