Update:  On October 22, 2014, TimkenSteel and Ohio Power filed a revision to their joint application to amend the unique arrangement.  TimkenSteel now estimates that it will meet the aggregate discount cap previously approved by the Commission prior to December 2014.  TimkenSteel and AEP argue that the end of that rate discount could significantly harm TimkenSteel’s competitiveness, and by means of their current revision, request that the Commission approve the proposed amendments to their reasonable arrangement effective December 1, 2014, rather than January 1, 2015.  All other aspects of the proposals set forth in the Joint Application remain unchanged.
