Update:  On September 12, 2012, the PUCO issued an entry granting the applications for rehearing filed by NOPEC, Sierra Club, the Environmental Law and Policy Center, Interstate Gas Supply, Inc., OCC, RESA, Direct Energy Services, LLC, and Direct Energy Business, LLC.  The PUCO provided that there is sufficient reason to warrant further consideration of the matters specified in the applications for rehearing.

However, the PUCO often issues non-substantive entries on rehearing in order to grant themselves indefinitely more time to issue a substantive rehearing.
